Maintenance guide: How to keep your mate thermos like new

When you receive your thermos, it comes straight from the factory. It has never been in contact with any liquid. It is therefore necessary to prepare your thermos for its new life.

Before using, we advise you to follow the steps below to best preserve its qualities and longevity:

• Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 L of boiling water.
• Pour the solution into the thermos and leave it to act for 12 hours.

After waiting, rinse the thermos thoroughly with clean water!

Your Tempera® thermos is ready! You can repeat this cleaning once a week or after contact with milk, coffee or any other liquid!

Regardless of the quality of your thermos , there are several points you need to be vigilant about in order not to alter its thermal quality.

Do not clean your thermos or fill it with an acidic liquid such as :

• Sodas
• Caustic acids
• Chlorine

Also, be careful about how you use the thermos itself :

• Do not put your thermos in the microwave.
• Do not heat the thermos directly
• Do not wash in the dishwasher
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not wash with harsh products such as bleach.
• Do not clean with an abrasive.

If you follow all our advice, your thermos should naturally last you a very long time and accompany all your mate teas !
